The FRI Web Site Page Design  
 
The FRI Website is built around a concept of functionality and consistency. The navigation allows access to any page on the site from any other page within three clicks of the mouse. A variety of navigation methods are provided to suit different styles and preferences. In addition, content portals are provided for different interest groups. The FRI Website consists of five functional areas"

The Title Bar - Situated across the top of the screen, the Title Bar always displays the name of the current page.

The Menu Panel - filling the left-hand portion of the screen is a Javascript menu. The menu is always present and always consistent, providing access to any portion of the website with no more than three mouse clicks.

The Navigation Buttons - Four buttons displayed across the right-hand portion of the Title Bar provide instant access to global functions such as the FRI Home Page, the Search Page, the Site Map, and the Help System.

The Content Area - The main portion of the screen is the content area where the information for each page is displayed.

The Contact and Currency Section - The bottom of each page holds an e-mail link to the FRI Web Master and an line indicating the date of the last update for the current page.
